Class 10's way to the world

London’s Eden Camp Blog

Hello world it’s meLondonhere writing to you. I’m going to tell you all about my trip to Eden Camp.

As I walked cautiously walked into the dark, scary Hut 3 I then noticed that it was a submarine, or it looked liked it anyway. The submarine experience was epic! I really liked it; it was exciting and cool, when we got about a quarter of the way round I saw a dead body, it was really gruesome! Me and Daniel T kept running ahead and scaring Mrs Tooker and Mrs Laurence it was one of the most funniest tricks ever; there faces was hilarious should of seen them, they looked like they had seen a ghost or something. We also saw a man with a beard wearing some headphones; he looked freaky… really freaky.

(I thought it was the best school trip ever known to man kind!)

Oliver’s Eden Camp trip!

I’m going to tell you about  my two favourite huts from Eden Camp.

Hut5 (The Blitz)

As we entered hut5 wew were all shivering like mad, because it was The Blitz! When we discorvered the house that was burning,we saw a pond that was bubbling and jumping like a seal out of water! When we moved on we saw pinky brown bricks that had fallen out of the house onto a person. Next I turened my head and I saw a hand sticking out of the rubble. I screamed and ran out of the big black doors into the gleaming sunlight.

Hut7 (Streets at war)

When we went into hut 7 we saw loads of streets/villages on fire as if it was The Blitz. We saw a man in the window calling for help. Also there was another man on a ladder climbing quickly up to the man in the house to save him from burning. As we were turning corners seeing streets on fire. When we finnaly got out of the hut we were all raedy to go to hut8.

Alice’s Trip To Eden Camp and The Sleepover!

On Monday 5th March our class teachers ( Miss Tooley and Miss Flecther ) planned a sleepover for all their pupils.Nearly every single pupil (from class 9 and 1o) slepted over at school. When we all got to school at 6:30 Miss.Tooley and Miss.Flecther exclaimed what was going to happen that night.

First of all they told us that we were going to play a game called Secret Agents; then we were going to get our sleeping bags and pillows ready and have some hot chocolate. After we played the game I was so tried i could just fall on the floor and flop to sleep. We watched a film called Goodnight Mr.Tom.In my row it went Chloe, Sophie Gr, Alex F, Beth Gr, Me, Charlie and Daniel.I coudn’t get to sleep but, Charlie and Beth got to sleep straight away. Finally i flopped to sleep.

On Tuesday 6th March we started to get ready for our school trip to Eden Camp.On one bus their were the year 6’s and on the other bus were the year 5’s.It took us a wopping 2hrs and 30 minutes to get to Eden Camp.I sat next to Charlie on the bus.

William’s trip to Eden Camp

On Tuesday 6th March, Class 10 travelled to Eden Camp for our marvellous topic ‘World War Two’. I am going to tell you about my exciting trip…

As I silently crept into the massive  Hut 5 , I suddenly stepped into complete darkness. I discovered that we were in the hut, The Blitz!  Firstly, our group saw a small house on fire with part of the brick wall collapsing! I then smelt a faint smell of smoke (it was only coming from the roof). I didn’t feel scared, even though other people were. I have learnt that The Blitz killed millions of innocent people either fighting for their country or helping around the house.

I enjoyed Hut 7, it had a model of  a street at war. The minute shops sold clothes, sweets, shoes, food and lots of other things. Near the end of  the hut, it had a small clothing exchange in the corner. One of the shops was closed due to the fact, the owners had gone to fight in the war. The windows were painted white so people couldn’t see what was inside. They were also taped up so they didn’t shatter.

Overall, I really enjoyed the trip to Eden Camp. I would recommend this amazing war camp to people who are interested in finding more about World War Two.

Bethany’s Eden Camp Trip

On tuesday 6th march we went on an outstanding school trip to Eden Camp. During the day we went into many different huts and they were all amazing but my favourite huts were the Blitz and the german u-boat. Those were my favourite huts because they were my favourite because they were the most interesting and it was easy to imagine that you were really there fighting in the war.

Firstly I would like to tell you about the german u-boat (hut 3). As I walked slowly into the hut I was curious to see what would come next but it was hard to see things because the light was flashing on and off rapidly. Suddenly I saw a dead man in the window and screamed. As soon as I got out of the hut I realised how hard it must have been to live in that crammed space for months on end.

Another thing I wanted to tell you about was hut 5 the blitz. Despite the fact it was dark I still enjoyed it. My absolute favourite thing about hut 5 was seeing how hard it must have been during an air raid.

I really thought Eden Camp was a really fun day out and I would reccomend it for a day full of fun.

Daniel’s Eden Camp Trip.

Hut five, the Blitz.

When I went into hut five it was cool. I was amazed by how dark it was. Unfortunately there were mini lights on the floor. There were broken walls, people stuck under rubble and smoke all over.

Hut three, The U-Boat Menace.

Then we went to hut three. In hut three there was a submarine. Everyone in my group started to jump around on the submarine. Hut three was my second favourite because I like submarines. It had hamercks in the submarine where people sleep.  There also were dead people that got drowned. That was my favourite part of Eden Camp.

Caitlin’s Eden Camp Trip

On Tuesday 6th March Class 10 went to Eden Camp . Im going to tell you about my favourite hut , hut 3 ! Hut 3 was about the German U-boat  and shows you what it was like.

I walked nervously into hut 3 and stared in amazment at all the models. The hut was pitch black and had realistic sounds that made you sqirm all over. What I did’t like about Hut 3 was the dead man in the window, it was disgusting !

My other favourite hut was hut 4 . I walked excitedly into hut 4 and saw a selection of crummed gas masks and old grenades. There was an amazing model of people using a bomb disposal , it was so great!

Over all I thought Eden Camp was worth the two hour trip  and recommend it to other people .
